• 1996: First memories
• 2015: Upon noticing fellow students become obsessed (= raving about them 24/7) with the newly-founded AfD, I stopped following politics.
• 2020: German goverment and public broadcasters made a synchronized 180 turn regarding covid policies. This happened in 2 weeks. Before that, people wanting the borders closed were far-right, after that, people opposing the border closure where far-right. I stopped following the news.
• 2021: Covid lockdown. I enjoyed much that staying at home became the social norm.
• 2024: I bought Factorio on new years. Due to several independent bugs and kernel regressions, none of my machines would boot Linux anymore. I played Factorio on my old Windows PC.
